1. Data Controller & Legal Entity
SnipAstra (snipastra.com) and the SnipAstra browser extension are owned and operated by ORCASOFT CONSULTANCY SERVICES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (SPICe+ MOA · Form INC-33) with its registered office situated in the State of Bihar (Bihar-BR), India. 2. Local-First Processing in the Browser Extension
All video downloads, frame-exact clipping, audio conversion, vertical reframing, and carousel image downloads happen 100% locally inside your browser on your computer using WebAssembly (ffmpeg.wasm). We do not upload, view, store, or transmit your videos, images, or browsing history to our servers.
3. Information We Collect
Free Extension Tier: Requires no account or sign-in. Preferences (default quality, format, frame rate, and theme palette) are saved in Chrome storage on your device. Free workspaces include clearly labelled Google AdSense banner slots. SnipAstra Pro Purchases: When you purchase a Monthly (₹99 / US$3.99), Quarterly (₹249 / US$9.99), or Annual (₹799 / US$29.99) plan, we collect your delivery email address, billing currency/region, and Razorpay or international payment transaction references to issue and support your licence key.
4. Pro Licence Key Verification
When you activate a SnipAstra Pro key, the extension sends only the licence key, extension ID, and extension version roughly twice a day to verify that the key is active. Validation results are cached locally so Pro continues working offline for up to 14 days.
5. Payment Processing & Security (Razorpay)
Indian payments are processed through Razorpay using PCI-DSS compliant checkout. ORCASOFT CONSULTANCY SERVICES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED never collects or stores your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, netbanking password, or one-time passwords (OTPs).
6. Retention, Access & Deletion Rights
We retain order and licence records for active subscriptions and as required by Indian tax and corporate laws. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email support@snipastra.com.
